Trust & Governance

Responsible Use

Professional technology requires professional judgment, lawful authorization and a documented workflow.

Information, not a verdict

LVA output is information for trained review. It does not automatically determine truth, deception, guilt or innocence.

Context is essential

Output should be considered with the complete interview or recording, available evidence, case information, established protocol, organizational policy and professional judgment.

Consequential decisions

Technology should not be the sole basis for employment, legal, criminal, claims, payment or other consequential decisions about an individual.

Lawful recordings

The supplying party is responsible for ensuring audio was lawfully obtained, possessed, disclosed and used. DDS does not authorize unlawful recording.

Data care

Do not send confidential recordings, evidence, privileged information or sensitive personal information through the public website. DDS provides transfer instructions after qualification when appropriate.
